Connie's Busy Cooking Again!

George Washington's Surrender

Fort Necessity, PA

When May 22nd arrived, the Pennsylvania State Parks opened to camping. We had a 14-day reservation at Ohiopyle State Park, located in the southwestern part of the state. After leaving the little campground in Virginia, we were surprised the GPS took us through West Virginia into Maryland, and finally into Pennsylvania. Happy Holidays!

Happy Holidays to All! Connie and I are enjoying our relaxing time at Patrick AFB in Florida. We can't believe we've been here for 2 months already! The weather here has still been humid, now in the mid-70's. We recently  had some terrible rain storms, but it's all sunshine again. Spending the Winter in Florida

Kentucky  While staying at Camp Carlson at Fort Knox we did see the United States Bullion Depository, but visitors aren't allowed and they don't give tours. They publicly state there's over 147 million ounces of gold stored there, currently worth over $216 BILLION  dollars. Photos aren't allowed, even from the highway, oops!
