I had an affair this weekend with my husband We took off on an impromptu getaway to Big Bear, CA. Visited with our friends Allan & Silvana. Stopped on our way home at some places we always drive by but too busy to stop and explore. One of these placed was Fossil Falls. Now we are home and ready to start our work week. Sigh, I love affairs
2/27: After spending the night at the Marfa roadside viewing spot, we drove on intending to stop at the Laughlin AFB campground at Amistad Lake near Del Rio, TX. We made a wrong turn and ended up in the Amistad Lake National Recreation Area. The small campground we were in was secluded, quiet, and overlooking the lake, although the weather was rainy and overcast. We decided to just spend the night...
