After leaving Quartzsite, AZ, we spent a few nights at the Fortuno Del Oro RV Park in Yuma, AZ. We had picked up a coupon for 3 free nights with full hook-ups.Nice deal! While in Yuma for a few days, we made our annual trek into Los Algadones, Mexico for dental care. Luckily, not much was required this year. We also picked up some fresh shrimp and a couple bottles of Almond Tequila (yum). Normally, we might have moved over to Mitttry Lake near Yuma to spend 10 nights boondocking there. But they recently had another fire there. We drove over to check it out and the place looks terrible! Nothing is left but a few dead, blackened trees and sand. The view of the lake isn't pretty at all. So we decided to skip Mittry and move straight out to Borrego Springs, CA.
We enjoy a nice and quiet boondocking location near the Anza Borrego State Park property and near town. We'll probably stay here for a couple weeks. I couldn't resist shooting another video of us in the desert.
