Spending the Winter in Florida

Patrick AFB, FL Marina

Kentucky  While staying at Camp Carlson at Fort Knox we did see the United States Bullion Depository, but visitors aren't allowed and they don't give tours. They publicly state there's over 147 million ounces of gold stored there, currently worth over $216 BILLION  dollars. Photos aren't allowed, even from the highway, oops! Goal of 50 States Reached!

National Museum of the US Air Force

He was nice and understanding, especially after I pointed out that there were no signs stating no genera...

Touring Wisconsin

North Point Lighthouse, Milwaukee, WI

After leaving the Sugar Bottom Corps of Engineer Campground in Iowa, we headed north into Wisconsin. This is another state we've never spent the night in, so it gets marked off the "bucket list"! We're now down to only 5 US states left that we've never spent the night in together. Our fist destination in Wisconsin was the Pine View Recreation Area operated by the US Army at Fort McCoy, near Sparta...
