Mammoth Mountain
Even though Connie and I have been working at Mammoth Lakes, CA every summer for the past 3 years, we never took the time to go to the top of Mammoth Mountain. This popular ski resort turns into a mountain biking mountain in the summer. They also offer "scenic" gondola rides to the top of the 11,053' mountain.
Although it was a little cloudy, it wasn't cold or windy. We enjoyed the tram ride to the top and walked around checking out the views. Overall, a good day.
